In this spin-off of The Jungle Book, Baloo the Bear stars in an adventurous comedy of love, fights, and exciting situations and adventures with his a new friend named Kit Cloudkicker, spending so much time together that Kit comes to know and love Baloo simply as 'papa bear.' Accompanying this duo is Rebecca Cunningham and her daughter Molly, a couple who constantly get involved in the many adventures of Baloo as he repeatedly turns adventure into mishap, angering and frustrating Becky to no end. Baloo bumps heads with many enemies in this series, most notably Don Karnage and his team of pilots. Whatever evil scheme Karnage concocts, he follows it to his whit's end, frequently resorting to kidnapping and other backup plans after Baloo's antics wreak havoc upon the carefully thought out plans of the unlikeable Karnage. Equally prominent of Baloo's enemies is the notorious Shere Kahn, a conniving mastermind that will stop at nothing to have his way.
