THE HOUSEGUESTS DO SOME HOUSEWARMING Seeing each other for the first time, eight new HouseGuests meet in front of the BIG BROTHER House, where they will spend up to 12 weeks living together and competing against each other for half a million dollars. Host Julie Chen welcomes them to the game, and sends the first three HouseGuests into the House with instructions: they must each choose one of the three bedrooms--they cannot choose the same room. Scott, David and Nathan enter first. Next in are Erika, Alison and Jun. Jun, the investment manager from New York, immediately realizes that the room she will be sharing with Nathan is furnished with only two double beds. She chooses the bed he is not sitting on, but later remarks she had wanted to ""share a bed with him because he's so cute."" Last to enter are Dana and Jack. In the end, Scott and Alison are sharing the Circle Room, which has three beds, but NO privacy; David, Erika and Dana are in the Desert Room, where they each have a bed, b

DRAMA-RAMA Unhappily reunited, each pair of exes chooses their own way to deal with their past loves. Amanda and Scott have delighted the other HouseGuests with their seemingly limitless capacity to argue about everything, and are never at a loss for harsh words. Meanwhile, Justin and Alison seem to be burying the hatchet. Or are they? Lounging comfortably on a bed and talking in hushed tones, the two former lovebirds make amends, but how sincere are their intentions? Alison later admits in the Diary Room that she is ""going to have to be nice, and then stab him in the back."" She's not the only person looking to evict an ex. Robert reports that he is ""here to play the game,"" and that if Erika stands in his way, ""she's gone."" SWEET DREAM OR WORST NIGHTMARE? The five who were late to arrive are given Bed Passes, which allow them to choose any bed they want, thereby condemning members of the ""Elite Eight"" to sleep on couches and cots if they choose to use the pass. DANA WINS POWER OF VETO, SCOTT EXPELLED With the first nominations in place, Amanda and Jee must rely on both strategy and the Power of Veto to secure their places in the House another week. In a close contest, Dana wins Power of Veto and the power to change the course of the game. Will she use it save one of the nominees? Conflicted by his feelings for his ex Amanda, especially after her nomination for eviction, Scott becomes reclusive, choosing to sleep during large parts of the day and drifting from one social group to another. The tension suddenly explodes, however, when he tosses furniture around the House and delivers an expletive-laden rant, in which he also refuses to go to the Diary Room when called there by producers. He later apologizes to his housemates, who nevertheless say they feel uncomfortable because of his actions. Finally, Scott does go to the Diary Room, never to return, as he was removed from the House and expelled from BIG BROTHER. VIEW FROM THE CHOPPING BLOCK

JEE STEPS UP The House is still reeling from Amanda's swift eviction and Jee's twist of fate as he becomes the new Head of Household. After the first eviction of the summer, some are second-guessing their decision to evict Amanda, as Jee proves himself a tough competitor by winning Head of Household. Competition is the name of the game, and with the first HouseGuest evicted, Robert is keeping sentiment separate from strategy, saying that there is ""one less to get me closer to the $500,000."" But how is the original alliance of the Elite Seven holding up with an Ex as the Head of Household? Alison worries that the Elite Seven is ""struggling severely."" Meanwhile, target-turned-head-honcho Jee is taking his new role in the game very seriously and is considering all angles. But should Jun worry for her safety? Her housemates are worried for her future with Jee in power, and Jee admits that Jun should ""watch her back."" Meanwhile, New Yorker Dana is ""pissed off"" about EVERYTHING! Using her

HOUSE ""QUACKS"" UNDER PRESSURE Michelle and Erika are reeling from their nominations for eviction, and the House is abuzz over the unpredictable Power of Veto. Meanwhile, the ever-popular game of ""Duckball,"" from BIG BROTHER 3, returns to the House in form of a Veto Competition. Dave proves he knows his way around a rubber ducky, winning the POV. But after threatening to save Erika in hopes that Dana would replace her, Dave opts to keep the nominations in place, after a convincing conversation with HoH Jee. LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE! Erika is ""a little angered"" by Jee's nomination speech, in which he told her she made people in the House ""uncomfortable."" She's wise to Robert's influence on Jee, saying Jee is ""like a little puppet,"" acting on Robert's behalf. Meanwhile, Alison and Dana console a crying Michelle, reassuring her that she is safe. Later, Dana dishes dirt in the Diary Room, admitting that they keep young Michelle on a ""need-to-know basis."" Misery loves company, and Erika

TO TRUST OR NOT TO TRUST? THAT IS THE QUESTION Erika is barely civil to her housemate Jee, who is responsible for her placement on the chopping block, and Jee admits that ""she's taking it pretty tough."" On the other hand, sweet nominee Michelle isn't sweating this week's eviction, saying she hasn't ""been worried."" But should she be worried? Robert, Jee and Justin are confident that Erika will be evicted in a unanimous vote, but others in the House think keeping Erika in the game could be beneficial. Meanwhile, Jee and Jun have formed a secret alliance, and are in covert cahoots, even speaking Korean to each other when discussing strategy. Jun says that ""things are understood"" between herself and Jee, and that after a six-year relationship, few words are needed between them. But that's not to say they're above exchanging unkind words in front of their roommates to throw off the scent of their alliance. JACK AND ALI FACE EVICTION As the HouseGuests adjust to Michelle's absence--and all that her unexpected eviction implies--Dana settles into her new role as Head of Household. A successful Food Competition leaves the HouseGuests (and their stomachs) satisfied, but the looming nominations keep everyone uneasy. After a day spent listening to her housemates' arguments, advice, gossip and strategies, Dana nominates Alison and Jack for eviction. ""NEW BITCH IN TOWN"" Robert, Jee and Justin are still reeling from the shock of Michelle's eviction, with Robert saying that he ""thought it was a mistake"" when host Julie Chen announced the votes. Former HoH Jee feels the guilt, and all three exes--Jee, Robert, and Justin--are realizing the power of their opposing alliance. Erika, who escaped eviction last week, had these words to offer: ""Never underestimate the power of a woman."" Dana accepts her position as the new Head of Household with some foreboding words: ""there's a new bitch in town."" Enj

ALI SAVED, REPLACED WITH DAVE Dana's bold nominations and alliance-defining moves have everyone in the House talking game. The House is ""evenly split,"" according to Robert, with two alliances facing off and playing hard, and this week's Veto Competition was fiercely fought. Nathan was victorious, and in a ceremony that left the HouseGuests shocked, he exercised his Power of Veto to rescue damsel-in-distress Alison, forcing Dana to choose David as the replacement nominee. A HOUSE DIVIDED In one swift move, Dana distances herself from her original alliance in favor of a coalition with Exes Jee, Robert and Justin (and possibly Jun). Dana says ""the line is definitely drawn,"" but her former allies-turned-foes are crying foul. Nominee Ali doesn't even ""want to see her face,"" while fellow nominee Jack calls Dana's move ""dreadfully stupid."" Meanwhile, the other side of the House is breathing a sigh of relief and praising HoH Dana, with flirt buddy Justin calling her strategy ""ingenious."" E

VETO PROVES ITS POWER After the Power of Veto meeting, tough New Yorker Dana shows a softer side as she sheds tears over Dave's nomination in the privacy of her HoH Room. Dave enters her room and assures her that he understands her decision, but later in the safety of the Diary Room, he's not quite as understanding, criticizing Dana for playing the game ""emotionally."" FBI Agent-turned-Big-Brother-HouseGuest Jack agrees with David's assessment of Dana, and remarks that Dana's ""brains are in her panties."" Meanwhile, Nathan's decision to go against HoH Dana by using the Power of Veto to save Alison has definitely made him a target. Dana's team of Exes (Jee, Robert and Justin) want Nathan to be the next one out, and the three approach nominee David with an offer: the three will vote to evict Jack, but only if David agrees to nominate Alison and Nathan if he wins the next Head of Household. DANA AND JUN FACE DOOM After a dramatic shift in power, Alison settles into her position as new Head of Household and prepares for the nominations. While Dana seems an obvious target, Ali weighs her options, considering all possibilities. After a difficult (and wet) Food Competition, half the House is sentenced to PB&J for a week. Finally, Alison announces her nominations, and Jun takes her position on the block as a pawn next to Dana. TWO-HEADED MONSTER After handing over the power to her archrival, Alison, Dana bemoans the dynamic duo's (Nathan and Alison's) recent streak of luck in the House. Referring to them as the ""two-headed monster,"" she notes that they have won the Luxury Competition, the Veto Competition, and the Head of Household Competition in the last week alone. But will the alleged two-headed creature set its sights on Dana? Alison says ""the tides have changed,"" and promises that she is ""going to be a bitch"" as Head of Household. NO REPRIEVE FOR DANA & JUN Alison's nominations have everyone talking, and many of her own allies disagree with her decision to nominate Jun and Dana instead of Justin. Meanwhile, the catfight continues as Dana and Alison butt heads and talk trash. After a Power of Veto Competition that has the HouseGuests searching for snakes in the grass, Robert wins the power to change the nominations, but fearing for the safety of his alliance, he opts to keep the nominations intact. ALISON ""MAKES OUT"" ALRIGHT After the nomination ceremony, Nathan expresses his disappointment to Alison in the backyard, saying he has a ""gut feeling"" that Justin should be the next one to go. Alison does her best to explain her nomination strategy, and implores Nate to ""trust"" her decision. WHO'S ""PISSED OFF"" NOW? Nominees and comrades Jun and Dana discuss their sticky situation, with Dana noting that she ""can't campaign"" against her ally Jun. But is she contradicting herself when she later says she ""won't give up without a fight""? Convinced that she has three votes in her favor (Justin, Jee and Robert), Dana sets out to secure a fourth. She sets her sights on Erika, planting the idea that if Jack and Erika keep Dana in the game, they could all go after Nate and Ali together. Erika reports back to Agent Jack with the new information, smugly saying ""we have power right now."" Jun, against whom Dana has promised not to campaign, is catching wind of Dana's dealings, and calls Dana's denials of any wrongdoing a ""crock of bull."" All Dana's bargaining has made Jun turn from friend to foe, and Jun says she can't wait ""to be rid of her."" But Dana's not the only one haggling in the House. STOOGES WIELD POWER The Three Stooges--Robert, Justin and Jee--hold the power in the House, and they're not afraid to flaunt it. NATHAN POUTS, STOOGES GLOAT Nathan is not taking his nomination lying down, and he divides his time evenly between pouting, campaigning and chiding Alison for betraying him. And although Alison tells him she's his ""only friend"" to his face, she makes it clear in the Diary Room that she's only looking out for herself. Nathan and fellow nominee Jack can only be saved with the Power of Veto, and the HouseGuests compete in a game of strategy to win the Power. Robert, one of the Three Stooges, wins the POV, and stays true to his alliance by keeping the nominations intact. NATHAN EVICTED; HOUSEGUESTS CAGED The HouseGuests are playing the game hard, with the Three Stooges flexing their power, Jack and Erika trying to skate by, Jun and Alison floating from alliance to alliance, and Nathan scrambling for a deal that will keep him in the House. In a live eviction, Nathan is evicted unanimously, and the remaining HouseGuests compete for the power in the House in an endurance-based Head of Household Competition that could last well into the night. HE SAID/SHE SAID: HOUSEGUESTS PLAY THE GOSSIP GAME It seems the Three Stooges (or, as they prefer, the Dream Team) have managed to stir up trouble in the House during their week in power, threatening to completely dismantle the original alliance of eight by nominating Nathan and Jack, all the while keeping ""floaters"" Jun and Alison tightly in their back pocket.
